Here is what we will be studying this week.
Math:
- We will continue reviewing and practicing the order of operations. We will also begin using it in word problems. We will explore how order of operations are not merely rules we just follow because we have to; they make mathematical sense! :)
- We will also be reviewing all four operations with whole numbers--especially multiplication and division. We will do computation problems as well as several word problems.
Due Dates:
- Unit 1 Study Guide- due Wednesday
- No CR or IXL this week!
- Unit 1 Test (out of 120 points!) this Friday, October 9th
Science:
It's project time! It's your opportunity to be creative and show me what you know about Earth's spheres and to explore how they interact in a particular ecosystem or in a natural phenomenon. You may click below for more information on this project or you can find it under the tab "Science Information" on the blog home page. Remember, do your best, really dig deep for great information, learn a lot, and have FUN! :)
