First Full Week...

I hope you are all having a great week so far!  I think we are off to a wonderful start. :)  Below are some notes about what we are studying this week and reminders of due dates and upcoming tests.

Math

We will be reviewing place value and using efficient strategies when adding, multiplying, and solving word problems with more than one step.  We will also play "Bowl-a-Fact" to practice all operations as well as sharpen our thinking skills.

Due Dates:
Wednesday, August 19th- Cumulative Review (CR #1) due


Science

To kick off our year in science, we will make collages that represent what we think science is.  We will also review rules and procedures to make sure we are always safe when participating in science labs.  To end the week, we will discuss what a scientist is and what they do.
