Only three days left in this school week! I hope you all enjoyed your long weekend. I also hope you are ready to work hard!
Here is what we have going on this week:
Math
This week we will be comparing and rounding decimals. We will practice placing them on number lines and will continue to use grids to visualize tenths, hundredths, thousandths, and even ten-thousandths.
Due Dates:
Thursday, January 21: Cumulative Review #15 due
Friday, January 22: Decimal page due (will be given in class on Thursday)
Monday, January 25: IXL Contract due
*No quiz this week.
Science
We will be continuing our study of matter. We will look at two main concepts:
1. that matter is made up of particles too small to be seen
2. conservation of mass
We will explore these ideas through some in class demonstrations and experiments. :)

*No quizzes this week. Grades will be taken on in-class assignments.
