A New Week!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!  I think everyone was a little sleepy today after daylight saving time!  It is nice to have it be sunny in the evening, though!
Today is the beginning of the final nine weeks of the school year!  Let's start it off right by working hard and doing our best! 

Here is what we have going on this week:  

Math:  
What We Are Studying
This week, we will be reviewing using all four basic operations with fractions.  We will be doing this in the context of word problems--authentic!!

Science:

What We Are Studying
We will be studying the engineering design process by designing our own parachutes! I am really looking forward to seeing all of the hard work, creative thinking, and problem solving that you all will be doing this week!

Upcoming Dates
No quizzes this week.
*Grades will be taken on in class assignments and science notebooks.
